Growing Roses in the Midwest

by Nan
(St. Louis)

I have been growing roses for the past 30 years. It is a very fulfilling hobby that I enjoy very much. Each spring I survey my roses to see if they all survived the winter. Usually, there is one that needs replacing. It is fun to look for a new variety to add to my collection, and then observe the new blooms as they enfold.
