Seed Catalogs

You could say that I live in the middle of nowhere. I have to drive about 20 minutes just to get to a gas station. Living out where I do means I have plenty of land, which is great for having a huge garden. However, it isn't great for getting new seeds and plants. I don't live anywhere near a plant nursery. Luckily, there are plenty of amazing seed catalogs out there.

The main seed catalogs that I use are the Park Seed catalogs. I'm able to order both plants and flower and vegetable seeds from them, which is perfect. They have extremely fast shipping, and everything I've gotten from them has been extremely high quality. I feel like having this catalog is like having access to a great plant nursery even living where I live.

The other catalog that I frequently make use of it the Richters Herb catalog. I love to grow fresh herbs, and they have a better selection of them there then any other catalog I've seen. I generally just order herb seeds from them, but they sell herb plants as well, and I have heard that they're really good quality.

I've tried many other seed catalogs, but those two are the ones that I keep coming back to. For gardening supplies, I use the Plow and Hearth catalog. Between the three of those, you'd never know that I didn't live close to a good plant nursery. My garden always looks terrific and I always am able to easily get everything that I want and need to grow in it.
